ARTIST NOTES: Seascape created in acrylic pouring technique where all colours were carefully chosen, mixed to fluid consistencies and layered into several cups. Poured onto the canvas the paint is manipulated by tilting to flow and form the seascape.

ARTIST BIO

Katrin (Kate) is a selftaught artist living in South Australia. Using her art work to reflect on her life experiences and surroundings. Expanding her knowledge through art classes and online courses, she is exploring the different consistencies of paint, using a variety of tools. Her work ranges from acrylic pouring, abstract intuitive painting, mixed media work and watercolours on miscellaneous substrates. She loves to repurpose and upcycle materials.
